Tulloch was first known as Bitsie, and remained so until 2017. In 2017, she chose to change her name back to Elizabeth. When I meet new people, I introduce myself to them as Bitsie. It worked in the beginning when I started acting, back in my 20s. In my mid-30s and I felt as though for reasons of billing I wanted to go back to Elizabeth. It hadn't even occurred to me until the time I started filming. The producer said Hey we saw it was Elizabeth as we filled the legal forms. Do you like this way of billing? Then I thought about it. I then called my agent and my manager, and they said That's definitely not the best concept. As you get old enough, you should get on with your life. Bitsie is surely a adorable name. It's adorable. It was that simple. it. Elizabeth is not my name now. The name is only for billing purposes for the future. Tulloch has Scottish as well as Spanish origins. Tulloch says that she was born in Spain though it isn't her native language. The Tulloch family includes a paternal grandmother from Renfrewshire and her grandfather who hails from Kirkwall. Both are in Scotland. In an interview exclusive to BBC News the reporter stated we were of the opinion that the first Tullochs migrated into the US between 1880 and 1900, and the Kerrs left in the early 1900s. She attended middle school as well as high school in Bedford, New York after returning to the U.S. Tulloch graduated magna cum laude in Harvard University with a double major in English as well as American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies.
