Zazie O. Beetz was born in Berlin on the 21st of November 1991. Her father was a German cabinet maker who emigrated into the United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is her mother who works as a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston also graduated from her high school. Beetz was a student at Skidmore College to study French after completing LaGuardia. When she graduated from the college, Beetz immediately began auditioning and was offered the part in the role of Van in Atlanta. Beetz, who was born in Berlin and was raised by a German-American father as well as an African American mother in New York, spoke both German and English in her home. Zazie is a performer at local theaters from the time she was a young child. The actress discovered her passion and started acting at the age of elementary school.
