The actress and dancer finally made her breakthrough in 2010, when she played Rocky Blue alongside Bella Thorne on the television show 'Shake It Up. Zendaya's veg-eating journey started at age eleven when she went to a local slaughterhouse during an excursion with her father. PEOPLE quotes her as saying, "It was horrible to witness all the animals awaiting slaughter at the slaughterhouse." It was shocking to realize that this is how I received my food was shocking to me. The girl has been eating mostly plant-based food ever since.
